The western mainstream is the [[wp>Zeitgeist]] of the [[wp>Western World]].  Prior to Christianity, most scholars identify it with Greek culture.  During the 20th century, it has shifted from Christian culture to Jewish culture due to [[Jewish influence]] on [[mainstream media]] and finance.
